Who are we?

Founded in 2023 by Director Joe Tonkovic, 88 Construction Services was born from a clear vision - to raise the standard of the construction industry and provide comprehensive support to project stakeholders at every stage of a build.

With over 25 years of experience in the ACT construction market, Joe brings a wealth of knowledge across diverse sectors, including commercial building refurbishments, office fitouts, new commercial developments, heritage restorations, and large-scale residential projects. His career spans work with both national commercial builders and local developers, giving him a deep understanding of the industry from multiple perspectives.

Well-respected within the local construction community, Joe has built strong relationships with consultants, contractors, and clients alike—connections that help ensure every project is delivered with quality, efficiency, and trust.

Based in the ACT (with the ability to also service clients interstate), we partner with developers, builders, project managers, strata managers and owners to provide tailored, practical solutions. From pre-construction activities right through to post-completion inspections, our services are built to add value for our clients.
